Platinic Arsenate has been obtained as red crystals by treating a solution of the hydroxyarsenide, Pt(OH)As, in aqua regia with potassium chloroplatinate. It was described by Thomson as a pale brown precipitate obtained by double decomposition of sodium arsenate and platinic nitrate.
